Invasion of Italy turn-limit is a free turn-based strategy game available on the Android platform. It is a version of Allied Invasion of Italy, set in the Mediterranean Theater during World War II.
As the player, you are in command of the Allied forces invading Italy, which was considered the soft underbelly of Axis-held Europe. While the Italians didn't put up much of a fight, the German armed forces posed a significant challenge with their mountain and paratrooper formations. This resulted in slow and costly progress for the Allies, especially in the mountain ranges filled with fortified defense lines.
The game also includes the Allied Anzio Landing, which allows players to experience the challenges of fighting behind enemy lines.
